Behind the lens
Kelsey Graczyk at the White House Rose Garden, August 2024
I am a passionate visual storyteller dedicated to crafting inclusive and engaging narratives that connect people to place. With over six years of experience as a photographer, visual information specialist, social media manager, and digital media lead at National Parks across the United States, I bring creativity, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for nature, culture, history, and storytelling to every project.
In my past roles, I have played a key role in expanding outreach to national and international audiences by developing and managing dynamic web content, vibrant social media platforms, and compelling visual design products. Known for collaborative work across park teams, regional offices, and partner organizations to create accessible and mission-aligned visual media products, I am committed to fostering deeper public connection and strengthening community engagement through authentic and visually rich storytelling.
Outside of work, I love to document my travels and adventures through photography. Whether I am traversing through the Andes Mountains over the Salkantay Pass in Peru, backpacking into the remote jungles of Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica, or discovering fog drenched forests in Madeira, Portugal, I am passionate about learning and reporting back my experiences. These adventures are more than a creative outlet; they are a way of engaging with different cultures, honoring everyday beauty, and deepening my understanding of local environments. This global curiosity fuels my work and inspires me to tell stories that are both grounded and expansive.
